MAYSAM

Maysam Al-Bermani is a qualified physiotherapist for complex musculoskeletal and neural conditions. Since finishing at the University of Queensland, she has gone on to work in both the private and public sector, both at home in Brisbane and abroad in the United Kingdom. Whilst working in the United Kingdom, she pursued Masters Studies in neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy at the University of Brighton, providing her with the tools to manage complex neurological and musculoskeletal disorders.

Working alongside many orthopaedic surgeons, Maysam has extensive knowledge and experience in postoperative rehabilitation, sporting injuries and return to sports programs. Experience in a wide range of medical fields has allowed further interest in the management of scoliosis, lower back and neck pain, headaches, chronic pain management and postural and ergonomic assessments.

Ensuring strong relationships with other health professionals, Maysam approaches each case in a holistic manner. Our aim is to do what it takes to treat the source and not the symptoms. With a hands-on treatment style in manual therapy, she utilises dry needling, shockwave therapy, exercise, pilates and education to empower the client and ensure excellent treatment outcomes. We want our clients to understand how their bodies move and function and allow them to achieve their full functional capabilities.

Maysam is an honest, confident and empathetic physiotherapist with a passion for health and a commitment to her clients. In her spare time, Maysam is a keen and avid gym-goer, working on strength and conditioning as well as boxing. You will always find her enjoying the outdoors either
hiking with friends or hunting for good food and coffee.
